NVQ Level 2 & 3

Overview
These courses are designed for all people in a warehouse environment and are suitable for people at junior level through to senior management.

Warehouse NVQ level 2 is suitable for people that have achieved NVQ level 1, or, have some basic warehouse knowledge and skills.

This qualification can be achieved within 6 - 10 months dependant on the candidate’s ability and input, and also the co-operation and assistance of the employer/placement provider.

How the Warehousing NVQ Level 2 works

The NVQ level 2 training programme comprises of 3 mandatory units and 5 optional units.
All eight level 2 units must be achieved in order to qualify for the full NVQ level 2 Warehouse Award.

How the Warehousing NVQ Level 3 works

Warehouse NVQ level 3 is suitable for people that have achieved NVQ level 2 standard, or, are already working at a supervisory level with a sound warehouse background and knowledge.

This qualification can be achieved within 10 - 16 months dependant on the candidate’s ability and input, and also the co-operation and assistance of the employer/placement provider.

The NVQ level 3 training programme helps to up-date existing skills and comprises of 2 mandatory units and 6 optional units.
All eight level 3 units must be achieved in order to qualify for the full NVQ level 3 Warehouse Award.

Some candidates or employers do not always need the full award; therefore, the candidate and employer may select only 2 or 3 units from the course to meet their requirements (this option is not funded by the LSC).
