
Apprenticeship
Overview
The Warehouse Apprenticeship is a level 2 qualification designed for
people with some basic warehouse experience.
This qualification can be achieved within 10 - 14 months
dependant on the candidate’s ability and input, and also the co-operation
and assistance of the employer/placement provider.
How the Warehousing Apprenticeship works
The complete Warehouse Apprenticeship Framework comprises of 3 Mandatory
level 2 NVQ Units, 7 selected Optional level 2 NVQ Units,
Working With Others Portfolio at level 2,
Improving Own Learning Portfolio at level 2,
Key Skills examinations in Application of Numbers at level 1,
Information Technology at level 1 and Communications at level 1
(each of 1 hour duration containing multiple-choice questions).
Passes in the three Key Skills examinations and completion
of the 3 Mandatory level 2 NVQ Units,
7 selected Optional NVQ Units,
Working With Others Portfolio at level 2 and Improving Own Learning
Portfolio at level 2, must be achieved in order to qualify for the full
Warehouse Apprenticeship Award.
