What are Apprenticeships? Apprenticeships have been introduced to meet the needs of both young people and businesses. They offer quality work based training as an alternative to full time study, leading to nationally recognised qualifications for well motivated young people. You should be aged between 16 and 23 years old and must be able to complete the Apprenticeship by your 25th birthday. Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to gain skills and nationally recognised qualifications sought by employers throughout industry.
Where will my training take place? Training will take place during your daily work. Assessors will also visit regularly to observe your work and to offer help and advice where necessary.
What will my training cost? As long as the criteria set out by the local LSC is met, there will be no costs to you the candidate.

Costs covering courses that are not funded by the LSC are available on request once your requirements have been identified. All courses can be tailored to suit employer’s or candidates requirements.
